Ways to travel from Hongkong to Jiangmen

Jiangmen is a famous capital of overseas, also a famous city of stainless steel housewares. Traveling from Hong Kong to Jiangmen is getting more and more popular, be it for business or leisure. From Hong Kong to Hongkong you can choose the high speed train, ferry, private car, etc.

Optional 1: Hong Kong to Jiangmen High Speed Train

No travel jam, soft seat, toilet, coffee, music, etc. It takes only two hours. The High Speed Train brings you a cozy travel.
It is only 30 mins from the train station to downtown.

• Notice: You have to arrive at West Kowloon Station at least 45 minutes prior to the departure time of your train for passport control & exit formalities. There are two kinds of trains, direct or transport through Guangzhou South Station.
• Advantages: The speediest way to travel from Hong Kong to Jiangmen, and the trains are frequent and almost always come on time.
• Disadvantages: Sometimes may be hard to book a train ticket, especially on holidays like National Day (usually from October 1st to October 7st) and Chinese New Year.

Optional 2: Hong Kong (Prince Edward) to Jiangmen Trough Bus

There are a bus station in Prince Edward, where buses head to different cities in Pearl River Delta. It takes around 4 hours.

• Advantages: Cheaper than taking high speed trains.
• Disadvantages: When you encounter traffic jam, it takes you more than 5 hours.

Optional 3: Hong Kong to Jiangmen Ferry

From China H.K. City Terminal / HKIA (Hongkong Air port) to Zhongshan Port / Zhuhai Port.

It usually takes 1.5 hours. But it takes another 1.5 hours from Zhongshan/ Zhuhai to Jiangmen.

Optional 4: Hong Kong to Jiangmen By Uber/ Didi/ Private car

If train ticket and ferry ticket are sold out, you can get to Jiangmen by Uber, Didi or private car. It takes at least 4 hours.

Not recommended. Not only high cost, but also there will be traffic jam on your way.
